The bird's captor hesitantly let her buy the bird and, having bought the bird, Pihnô Tialtinfawm hurried off to Siaha, the headquarter of MADC and handed over the bird to Environment & Forest Department, MADC on Monday.

Appreciating this woman selfless effort to save the bird, E & F Deptt., MADC offered her a reward in cash for her travel's expense; but, Pihnô Tialfawm say that, "Saving the bird was the least she could do for the poor bird" and turned down their offer.
